Arthur Simpson, Esq.
Attorney & Realtor® · Global Property Advisor · Founder, Truestead Law · Florida Bar #529265
Arthur founded Truestead to do the work he believes Florida families most need: counsel that connects property, planning, and care into a single, coherent plan. As both a Florida attorney and a licensed real estate broker who holds the CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist) designation, he advises clients as both the lawyer and the property specialist on their Florida transactions — and, through GCRID, on cross-border matters worldwide.
A Florida attorney for Florida families.
Arthur Simpson founded Truestead Law to bring together three areas of law that Florida families rarely find under one roof: real estate, estate planning, and elder law. His practice is built on a simple observation — that the same family faces all three sets of questions, often at the same time, and that separating those answers does the family a disservice.
Arthur works directly with every client. Truestead is a boutique firm by design: small enough that every matter gets the time it deserves, and experienced enough to handle complex planning for high-net-worth families, multi-state property owners, and seniors navigating the costs of long-term care.
He has particular depth in Florida homestead law — an area that touches real estate, estate planning, and elder law simultaneously, and one where the consequences of getting it wrong can reach across generations. He also regularly represents families through Florida probate, trust administration, and Medicaid planning, often working alongside CPAs, financial advisors, and elder care professionals to build plans that hold up in practice, not just on paper.
Arthur believes the best legal work is done with a long view. His goal with every client is not to produce a document, but to build a plan — one that fits their family, their assets, and the years ahead.
And when life takes an unexpected turn, Truestead is there too. Arthur also represents Florida families in personal injury matters — car accidents, slip-and-falls, and wrongful death — pursuing fair recovery so that an injury doesn't derail the future a family has worked to build.

What to expect.
Every new client relationship begins with a consultation — a short, focused conversation at no cost. Arthur will listen, ask a few questions about your situation, and help you understand whether and how Truestead can help. There's no obligation, and no pressure.
If we're a good fit, Arthur will outline a clear scope of work and a fee arrangement before any engagement begins. Clients work directly with Arthur throughout — not with an associate or a paralegal handling the substance of the work.
For matters that involve your CPA, financial advisor, or other counsel, Arthur welcomes those conversations. The best outcomes for families come from advisors who communicate with each other, and Truestead is built to work that way.
Let's talk about your plan.
A first conversation is short, focused, and at no cost. We'll listen, ask a few questions, and help you understand what — if anything — needs your attention.
